Astrology + yoga Workshop
The Taurus Full Moon is a time of regeneration and renewal, giving us an opportunity to shed anything that no longer serves in our lives. Taking place during Scorpio season, this Full Moon brings us out of the dark and shines a light on what needs to change and transform. At this workshop, we will first delve into the astrology of the moment, understanding the Taurus-Scorpio polarity and how these two signs complement each other. Then we will do a yoga flow intended to deepen our understanding of the Full Moon moment and its effect on us. We will wrap up with a group Full Moon releasing ritual, getting us energetically prepared to step into a new light.
Join us as we guide you through a power yoga class with an open discussion on this astrological phenomenon after!
About the Astrologer
Sarah Walsh, Astrologer
I am an astrologer (Aquarius sun, Aquarius moon, Cancer rising), passionate about working with people to uncover astrological insights in their lives.
There are astrological energies happening all the time, whether we like it or not, and my goal is to help people use their unique astrology for good in their life. I do not believe in "bad" or "good" astrology; I believe that we all have the free will to use our personal astrology, along with the astrology of the moment, however we choose—and to have fun while doing it!
I am a lifelong lover of astrology, reading about the cosmos any chance I got. As I grew in my practice, I studied under the astrologer Heidi Rose Robbins. I offer a variety of astrological readings (both in person and online) at https://www.astrologyxsarah.com/ and write a semi-regular astrology newsletter at https://astrologyxsarah.substack.com/.

Mystic Kirtan Club
Kirtan is a call-and-response style song or chant aimed to praise different forms of the divine. Bhajan refers to a style of singing together in unison.
Our event will consist of collectively singing mantras (sanskrit affirmations) and simple uplifting songs- often called 'medicine songs.' We will also be opening discussion of spiritual ideas, Hindu mythology, & inviting guided meditations in-between songs. You will each have song sheets to refer to as well.
Kirtan and Bhajan are forms of Bhakti Yoga - the yoga of devotion - which welcomes loving devotion to the apparent divinity of our individual experiences.
This is a great event for anyone looking to explore a lesser known yet essential path of the yogic journey.
The kirtan guides will be facilitating the music through live instrumentation and vocals. We will also distribute song-sheets and demonstrate the lyrics of each song with fluid repetition. Participants will sing along as they connect to the melodies and words with deeper clarity and intensity.
This event is FREE but we accept & appreciate donations.
